The towel under the head cleaning described is fine. To clean Inside the head, you can actualy print rather than do a transport flush as described. Using a cleaning cart (from Mis or other supplier), just go get a banner paper roll and using the banner paper and the cart print about 9ft(or until no color shows) through the proper spot eg:LK. That will empty the ink lines and head and put the cleaning solution into the head. Let it set awhile to soak and then put your LK cart back in and repeat the printing to get ink back into the lines and head. That should flush out stuff inside. I, personaly, just loaded a cart with 1:10 clear household ammonia(Not soapy or perfumed stuff) and distilled water and used that on my 7000 to do this. It worked just fine.
