Hi Tom, The alpha channel idea is a pretty big change and I'm not sure how I'd even do it on the Mac -- alpha channels are not standard I/O features. But split-tone capability (based on density) is a lot more useful. So my idea is to do it all together -- 3 curves and 3 blends (highlights, mid, shadows). This should fit into people's current workflow.
