Re: [QuadtoneRIP] X-Rite Pulse L* values

I used the colorshop x color scratchpad lab values with the pulse to measure the 21 step wedge. there is no need to do any conversion. the lab values are fine as they are for linearization in qtr. make sure you do it in the proper order. if i remember correctly it is from light to dark.

Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] X-Rite Pulse L* values

I'm new to QuadTone and the X-Rite Pulse system. I finally found using

Colorshop X in the Color Scratchpad was a way to to pull up an L* value

by individual readings for the 21step wedge for linearization. The

values as the Pulse gives me in L* are for the lightest patch 96.76 and

the darkest 16.11. These values are numerically different than those

required for placing the linearization values. Is there a conversion

table I need to use or is there a different way to pull up the L*

numbers with the Pulse? Thanks.
