QTR-Quadtone RIP

just got my my USB-->parallel adapter for my old 9500, loaded with K6
ink, and am ready to roll.

i'm on a mac. when starting with a 1.8 gamma grayscale scan, is the
workflow in Pshop CS2 as simple as this: Edit-->Convert to
Profile...-->Gray Gamma 2.2 before sending it to QTR?
