I don't know about CS2, but previous versions of Photoshop have a limit of 10,000-some-odd pixels in either dimension. Could that be your problem?

Hi Julian, Did you ever get an answer to this question? I might like
to print that long as well although I assumed the printer would be the
limiting factor. I had read that the R2400 will only go 44 inches long.
