Jeff - Thanks for the reply. I took out the K7 inks and put standard epson inks back in to trouble shoot the situation. I know the blues are coming from having 'colored' inks in them, but when I put the K7 inkset in and use QTR all of the light tones are completely washed over, creating a very muddy look. I know the flushing isn't the issue because I've had the K7s in for several weeks of good printing before all of this started. If you have any other ideas/experiences, I'd appreciate any thoughts. The profiles that are listed in the Curve Setup drop down are the Quad profiles. K7 is a bw inkset so you should not get any blues. It took quite a while on my R1800 to flush out all the old original R1800 inks (for me it was the blue and red that took the longest to flush). --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "mdhill60_1960" <mdhill60@...> wrote: > > I posted this message originally under Help!HORRID R1800 printing and > since then I've done a bit more troubleshooting. > > After changing out all of the software options, I decided to go back > to Epson inks.
