QTR-Quadtone RIP

I too have been a happy user of QTR with an Epson 9600 and the UC/MK  
inks and mostly the supplied profiles, and now
have a 9800 that I run with the UC/PK inks and want to print on the  
new generation of "photo papers" like the Crane Silver rag etc.
and even Epson semi-matte and Lustre.

My success with making my own profiles has been uneven to say the least.

So, I'm appealing to anyone who has created any profiles for any of  
these combinations.

Even a few words of advice for generating my own would be a good thing.

I've been able to do densitometery  with the old ColorMouse and the  
colorsavy densitometer software.
