Roy ... I am continuing my profiling efforts and making some progress. Can see that the Calc-Density program you mention in the write-up on using the Eye-One Spectro with QTR would be a big help. I am currently using QTR-21-random as my 'target', then measuring it with the Eye-One and using Bruce Lindbloom's Companding Calculator to convert from 'L' values to 'density'. It's a rather tedious process, both in terms of getting the data in the preferred format (density)and then sorting it in ascending order in order to compare it to your 'Ideal Density' data in Tom Moore's Tutorial. I can certainly see that the ordered '**' bar graph in Calc-Density would be a big help. Many thank to you and all the other folks that keep this an active and most helpful forum.
