QTR-Quadtone RIP

I'm new to Quadtone RIP (learned about it from Carlan Tapp at Maine Photo Workshop).  I 
have Matte Black available, but because I usually am asked to print my color work on 
Premium Luster or equiv, am reluctant to make change from Photo Black.  All profiles that 
come with the RIP seem to be for matte.
I've tried using several of the profiles that are there, using warm or cool, but keep getting 
sepia.  Any ideas, or do I have to attempt to make a profile, which looks really daunting?
