There may be a better way to fix this problem. If you right click on the QTR menu on the taskbar, you can select move. This should put the cursor at the top of the menu box in a sort of four point compass cursor. Left clicking it while its in the position and dragging it to center screen could solve your problem.
It may take a bit of patience especially if the task bar is set to hide/unhide itself.

starting QTR multiple times. The OS is supposed to move the starting point
down and to the right each time. Maybe it will eventually put it where you
can see it.
