QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am using windows XP and have recently downloaded Quadtonerip version
> 2.1.8. I have an Epson 2200 printer.Each time I try to print, I 
receive
> the above noted message that states that there is a fatal error- PPD
> environment not set. I scanned any previous messages but have not 
found
> the solution for the XP environment. Any help would be most
