QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi,

I am new to the group.  I am trying to get up to speed on B&W printing
for the r1800.  I searched the group message for the 1800 and did not
see a lot.  Would someone be so kind as to give me a quick-start list
of what I need to do, research, download, etc. to get started/going? 
Are there and profiles for QTR for the r1800 (and for what papers). 
Any help, shared wisdom, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
