RE: [QuadtoneRIP] Multiple printers on one computer

Clay,

I would think that you need to SHARE the Printers on the Server. You might
have to give them different names. You would then have to have QTR on the
other computers?

Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] Multiple printers on one computer

I am gearing up to teach a digital negative workshop at the houston center
for photography
next month using QTR. Hopefully I will create some avid new users of this
fantastic approach
to making negatives.

Anyway, their digital lab has one computer acting as a print server with two
Epson 2400
printers attached to it. When I installed QTR on this computer, only one of
the printers
appears to be configured as the QTR printer. Anyone know of an easy way to
install the driver
so that students will be able to select either of the two printers?

My first thought was to turn off the printer that the driver was already
installed for, and then
install the QTR driver again for the second printer, but I am not sure if I
will be able to name
this second printer something different. Anybody out there ever have to set
up this sort of
configuration?

Thanks!

Clay
