GREETINGS ALL, I haven't been able to participate for a while, but I do have a question of the group. I run two 7600 printers, one PK and one MK. When I originally set them up, I had to install all of the printer drivers separately with only one printer online. I then immediately named the drivers I had just installed to reflect which printer they referred to. Therefore, I have two sets of drivers which are basically identical, except that one set communicates only with the PK printer, while the other set is MK specific. This way I can also be printing on both printers simultaneously. I have been using QTR for about a year and find it fits in very well with my MK workflow. I would also like to use it with the PK printer, but when I try to install with just the PK printer online, QTR simply wants to do an upgrade installation. This was not a surprise, as I had anticipated the situation, since of course QTR is already installed. The reason I originally installed with only the MK printer online is that this was the method I used to install the Epson drivers for the individual printers, as mentioned above. Now of course, QTR will only communicate with that printer. Basically, what I am trying to do is set up a separate QTR printer(driver) for each of the MK and PK printers. I am wondering if I should uninstall the QTR driver and reinstall with both printers online. Would that allow QTR to access both printers? If anyone has experience with this particular situation, your expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Gary gnickzone@sympatico.ca
