I've bought some paper from MIS which is their Premier Art Paper Matte and is double sided paper. Right out of the package it is apparent that it has a curl in a particular direction with the longest dimension having the curl. If I print on the side which is crowned, I don't have much of a prolem with the printer head dragging across the paper and leaving ink smudge trails, but if I turn it over I have the print head striking the edges and actually breaking the edge and leaving ink smudge trails across the surface also.Being coated on both sides how do I go about removing the curl without damaging the coating? Anyone who has done this is welcome to respond. I really do like this paper because now I can finally get a good enough print on matte that I don't have to rely on Ilford Glossy paper for good Dmax shadows and light airy highlights with texture and feeling.
