On my Epson 2400, I want to try printing with only my matte black ink cartridge, not the light black or the light-light black. (I'm tryng to create transparencies that I'll use for exposing photo polymer etching plates and I need a dense dot/grain pattern (closer to a Bitmap), and not a continuous tone image as you would want for fine art printing on paper.) What would be my curve creation settings to do this? As a starting point and best guess, I'd say: * Black Ink selected (showing "gray ink"), at Density of 100, I but don't know what "ink limit" should be (right now its blank). * All other inks "not used." * By default "Default Ink Limit" is at 55. Is this the overall amount of ink laid down? And would I keep it at this setting? Again, thanks for your help, David.
