QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello,
since I updated to 2.5.2.1, my prints look different, even if I print
the same files without changing or saving again. Before the update, I
got exactly the same look between monitor and print, when I converted
the files to QTR-GrayLab-workspace in Photoshop. Now, the prints are
missing exactly, what ist described in Roy Harringtons's
'gray-readme.rtf' for this workspace: '...displaying slightly darker
through the mid values but opening up the deep shadows from K = 90 to
100%'... the prints look dull and greyish.
I found the following in QTRlog.txt:

...calling ReadTIFF
TIFFReadDirectory: Warning, C:\Foto\Testmotive\Imbiss GrayLab.tif:
wrong data type 1 for "XMLPacket"; tag ignored.

Is it possible, that the QTR-profile is ignored anyway ?
