After I installed Leopard on my G5 none of my printers worked. While I could add them to the printer list in System Preferences, when I went to print the printer would stop and not resume. I had some long calls with Apple, with two solutions. The easiest was just to reinstall leopard again. I had to do this 2 times, then I could print with Gutenprint, but QTR is not available. I assume I will have to reinstall this. My Epson 1270 driver reappeared. But no Epson 7600 driver, which Epson says they are still working on. So, I cannot print on my 7600 with Leopard. BE CAREFUL: if you need to do this, don't install Leopard yet! I assume I suspect that it would be a good idea to uninstall QTR and Gutenprint before upgrading to Leopard. Leopard includes Gutenprint, and my guess is that the two programs somehow conflicted with each other. Apple also sent me 2 Terminal commands which deal with Gutenprint, which I haven't tried yet.
