QTR-Quadtone RIP

Greetings.  I am running MAC version 10.5.1 Leopard.  Am I able to
utilize QTR?  I did the dowload and was trying to test it out before
paying for it but have some problems.

Are there any special installation issues I need to be aware of?  I
have installed it and it seems that all went according to plan - but I
cannot get a print to complete.

I select QuadToneRip as the printer, make selections in the print
dialogue section and hit print.  The QTR image appears in the dock,
bounces up and down, and when I select it I get the following message:

usr/libexec/cups/filter/quadtoneprintfailed

Any ideas?
