QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am a new user of QuadToneRIP and am having difficulty with the 
Linearisation process using an Eye-One spectrophotometer.

In the .pdf file entitled "QuadToneRIP 2.5 & Eye-One 
Spectrophotometer", the section headed "Linearize a QuadToneRIP Curve" 
has me confused.  Having completed a first scan on the QTR-21x4-random 
test chart and generated the resulting text file how do I then proceed?

Would appreciate any help that the forum members are able to supply.
