My workaround is to load roll paper with the "sheet" button checked and then switch it to roll AFTER the paper is loaded. Saves a lot of 'end' papers. I do not use the printer's cutter. I use it to drive an epson 7600 and I've mostly printed on sheet paper. Recently I've got some paper in roll (24" wide). Set the auto cutter off (both on the printer panel and in QTR) and the printer just feeds and extra 7"-8" of paper ahead of the very start of the print. Researching the archive on the EpsonLargeFormat group some suggest to set the auto-cutter on on the panel and off in the driver. Tried that and several other combinations but no success. The only way that I can avoid that damn extra paper feed is by using sheets. Anyone has any experience with this? Thx Dario Yahoo! Groups Links **************Start the year off right.
