One file I used successfully with Spyder3Print looks like this: BEGIN_DATA_FORMAT SampleID GRAY LAB_L LAB_A LAB_B END_DATA_FORMAT NUMBER_OF_SETS 21 BEGIN_DATA 1 0 93.47 0.95 -5.24 2 5 90.32 1.05 -4.97 3 10 86.37 1.01 -4.67 4 15 82.67 0.85 -4.43 5 20 78.93 0.84 -3.94 6 25 75.11 1.23 -3.45 7 30 70.66 1.01 -3.77 8 35 66.64 0.68 -3.38 9 40 62.66 0.84 -2.49 10 45 59.03 0.85 -2.39 11 50 54.67 1.05 -2.55 12 55 50.07 0.99 -2.01 13 60 45.20 1.29 -1.51 14 65 40.02 1.14 -0.99 15 70 35.31 0.97 -0.97 16 75 29.48 0.88 -0.28 17 80 23.68 0.83 0.04 18 85 17.52 0.65 0.39 19 90 12.26 0.45 0.71 20 95 7.17 0.11 1.50 21 100 2.26 0.00 0.24 END_DATA I hope the formatting shows properly. Here's what I did to make that file from the 21 step not-random printout: In Spyder3Print, under Tools: First, do the Calibration using their supplied white target. To make a file for icc profiling, go to Tools/Measurement 1. set a name for the export file. I prefix mine with my initials, MR, so I can tell the ones I've made from the many other profiles that show up in Photoshop drop downs. QTR will also put its prefix in front, as it does with profiles supplied with QTR (as QTR - Grey Matte Paper) so mine end up as QTR_MRxxxx. 2. check QTR Override and press 'CreateICC' 3. make measurements 4. Press Done 5. Drop the file in the Spyder3Print 3.0/Data/Export folder on the QTR-Create-ICC droplet 6. Move the created .icc file to ~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles or to another Profiles folder. Mac, Tiger. QTR 2.4.3. Hope that helps. Michael
