I think the problem is that your lab readings reverse as you go through the patches. Most likely caused by your dark patches not being seperated or even too much ink reversing the lab readings (high reading for lower patches). If you have access to Excel you can load in the txt file, sort the readings by patch value and plot what is happening to your readings.
