Re:[QuadtoneRIP] trouble with lineariza tion on a 7600 UC was Re: Linearization ?

2008-02-19 by Paulo Baptista

Hi all,
after some time I am trying QTR again, this time using Epson
Ultrasmooth Fine Art paper on a 7600 with UC inks. On the
linearization process for the UC-EUltraSmooth-cool curve,
when I delete the linearization line, save the curve as
UC-EUltraSmooth-cool_unlinearized and drop it to the
Drop-Quad-Profile script (for creating an unlinearized curve
to print the 21 step scale and reading it with a PrintFix
colorimeter) I get the following message:

Creating curve UC-EUltraSmooth-cool_unlinearized
usage: qdensity dmin d1 d2 d3 ... dmax
Qdensity did not return valid coordinates at
/usr/local/bin/quadprofile line 65

and the corresponding curve is not created at my profiles
folder.
Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?
(running Tiger on a G4 Powerbook and PS CS3)
Thanks in advance,
Paulo
