In QTR Ink
Calibration Help file there is this :
²The darkest ink limit will be called 100. Now match the density of the
limit for the next lighter ink with the matching density of a percentage of
darkest ink.
I don't quite understand
what to do.
I have an Epson4000 with
UT7 and I try to make an ICC profile with some glossy
paper.
Here is what I did
:
I printed the "ink
pattern".
Reading this print I
decided the ink limit to be 80 and SET it in the "ink calibration mode
slider".
I made a new print
and scanned
it in B&;W mode, 16 bit and 300 dpi with no calibration and opened it in
PS.
On the curve creator
window, for the darkest ink, which is BK, I set "Gray ink",
"Density" 90 that's what I found with the color sampler set to 5x5 for 100
on the ink pattern. Then for "Limit" I typed 100.
Then I am stuck
here.
Is what I have done correct
in the first place and then how to follow through ?
Anybody can help
?
Thanks
Michel
