QTR-Quadtone RIP

I simply cannot get the install 4800 script to see the 4880. I am on a USB connection running 
Leopard. I have installed QTR and the patch for Leopard. When I run the Install Script I get 
this message:

"Cannot find an Epson USB printer with the name 4800
The printer must be turned on, plugged in to computer and ready
Resetting the printer may be necessary."

I can see the printer in the system prefs. I have actually added it to my list. I tried renaming 
the printer to 4800 to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.
