Changing the printing model resets things. - Stephen stephen.sbillard.org -----Original Message----- From: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com [mailto:QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of gerdmuller535 Sent: Tuesday, August 05, 2008 9:45 AM To: QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com Subject: [QuadtoneRIP] Small bug in the Curve Creator Tool (Windows Version QTRGui 2.6.1.0) Hi all, I found a little bug in the Curve Creator Tool (Windows Version QTRGui 2.6.1.0). Let's say I select the Printing Model "Quad4000-A", and set the gray densities and limits. One or more of the channels is a "Copy curve from" set to a value differnent from "K" and "LK". After that I change the Printing Model to "Quad4000-B". Now the "Copy curve from" selections for C and M are set back to "K", for Y, LC and LM to "LK". The selections for K and LK will be set back to <empty>. It's a bit annoying and error prone, as my workflow to create new profiles includes a lot of switching between Printing Models. Did anyone observe the same behavior? Regards, Gerd. ------------------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Links
