Hi Alan, I assume you're doing B&W prints. I haven't been doing QTR printing that long myself - but set your Color Profile (EDIT-> Color Settings) in PS3 to Adobe 1998, Gamma 2.2 BEFORE you work on the image and save it as a .psd document because you will eventually ask PS to manage the colors in the PRINT dialog box.
