"Error writing to printer"

"Error writing to printer" a 49mb tiff. Windows XP Pro, Epson 7600,
Cone K7 inks. Printing a 16x20", it makes it about 50% of the way and
hangs with the resulting error message. No further details are given. 

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
