Thanks Tyler, I figured this was probably the case. I dont intend using 3rd party inks. I suppose I was a bit concerned that if I only use 3 inks for most of the time, it might lead to clogging in the other ink heads. We have very hot and very dry summers where I live (Adelaide). I guess the simple way around this is to do an occasional print with all 8 inks.
