Thanks, Michael. I might be putting down too much ink; I'll try adjusting that. What would your recommendation be for how, using the Epson ABW driver on a 3800? If I want to try your Excel trick, so I can see what is out of order without relying on create-icc.exe, (I am very ignorant when it comes to Excel): how do I get the values into Excel and which field in the .txt file is the expected reading? Also interestingly, when I look at the .txt files from a strip mode reading of the original .tif file and a patch mode reading of the same file stretched huge so each patch is about 1" on a side, the values are noticeably different. Photoshop reports the same RGB values in both, and they are printed on the same piece of paper using the same ABW settings, so do I deduce that MeasureTool can't handle the tiny squares in strip mode?
