Tim The file you included was a .qidf file. I was able to bring it into QTRgui create curve dialogue and create a .quad file with it with no problem. The resulting .quad file looks slightly unusual (in that it uses very little ink), but other than that it seems OK. Are you saying that when you create a .quad file, you can't print with it? I don't have a 4000 printer so can't test it exactly as you provided it.
