QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello,
I'm running OS 10.5.5
I was trying to measure a chart using the Measure tool. I selected the 'configure box, chose 
Eye1 & reflective, received the ok & closed that window. Then I chose the 'Measure & chose 
'chart'. I tried to select a reference file by using 'open' & chose folder 
Testcharts>printer>Eye1. All the charts are grayed out. I'm not able to choose any of them. I 
tried a different route..... Reference files>printer>Eye1. Again, all the charts are able to be 
choosen EXCEPT the one I wanted (which is a 26 step gray chart, saved as a psd, also the 
'Step-24x4-random.tiff is also grayed out).
How can I resolve this, so I can create a text file?
