QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello ...

Just recently an Eye1 spectro was mentioned as a fine but expensive
solution.  Has anyone ever used an X-Rite 810 densitometer for
linearization?  It's old, but it seems to calibrate and also take
readings on it's enameled test plate.

Any observations at all would be helpful.
