It has been a while that I made my last profile, so this is my best attempt.

Also correct, the densities are relative to black

I always compare the "number 100" samples of the 2nd print, but your question makes me hesitate slightly... there should not be much difference between between the two as in the 2nd print (with ink limit on 85) sample with number 100 should also (approximately) be the sample with maximum coverage. For the black ink that is true anyhow.  My expecation is that if there would be any difference at all it will dissappear after linearization.
