Hi Everyone, I'm a longtime user of QTR but never built curves myself...I always tweaked them by hand or had another person build them for me. I have a DTP-32 that I'd like to put to use building and linerizing profiles as I'm adding a lighter gray to the UT-2 inks of my 1280. I have the power supply and serial cable also. When I power up the DTP the window asks for a calibration strip...so I assume I need to buy one. Do I need anything else? I see in the files section there are step wedges for the DTP. So I guess I could use those? I have Macs one old 8500/OS9 and QuickSilver 10.4. From my previous readings on the subject I could just read data and enter by hand from the DTP. Seems like I could download data from the DTP to the 8500 via the serial cable. What program would I use on the OS 9 Mac? Did I leave anything out? Thanks, John V.
