Update: I got it working after some extremely fiddly adjustments deep within the printer's control panel. For one thing the printer was ID'ing itself to the computer by its European model name, rather than US name. Don't even ask how i figured it out ... or how you change it, it's too ridiculous.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
