JP, Send me a PM. I have worked up a qidf file based on K6 ink densities that I was able to find in the 7500 printer folder for K6 inks. I will send you this file. This will not be linearized - but if the ink partitions I have created are decent, you can use this as the master setup, and linearize with each individual paper you plan to use. You will use the new scanner based tool for linearization. It would help tremendously if you have a local access to a densitometer. If I can't get good results myself, I will pay Piezography to do it though I'd rather save the money if I can . > > > > > --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "shileshjani" <shileshjani@> wrote: > > > > Hmm. I don't know how to help you further. I am not even sure which of systems; 2200 or 7000 is the one working correctly. You will need some meaurement tools for further diagnosis or refinement of curves. Unfortunately the Piezography ink partition and curve creation tools are not available. So you will need to create your own curves from scratch using QTR or have inkjetmall create custom curves for you. > > > > Fortunately, Roy Harrington has recently added the utility that uses a scanner for this purpose. > > > > Good luck. > > > > Shilesh > > > > > > > > --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "jespes" <jesse@> wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello JP, > > > > > > the 7000 is a K6 setup while the 2200 > > > > is a K7.
