More on my topic: I am able to create a custom ICC profile using the QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.app on Snow Leopard. After measuring the 21 step wedge using Spyder3, I get the output file with the LINEARIZE= line in it. I have copied a raw neutral curve to a new one and appended the LINEARIZE= line I got from Spyder3print. Now when I run the Install3800.command, the script waits for the 3800 printer connected to USB, however I have the 3880 connected. When I rename the command to Install3880.command, it says "ALERT! **** QuadToneRIP does not support printer 3880 ****". How can I workaround this? I read it's possible, however I don't understand how to do it.. Thank you for any help, Best regards, Jakub Vosahlo --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Jakub Vosahlo <vosahloj@...> wrote: > > Hi, > > Please, could someone guide me a bit how to get the 3880 working with QTR? I hear there is a workaround possible, however I have absolutely no previous experience with QTR, RIP nor professional printing, so the QTR documentation is my only lead. > > I am able to measure the target with my Spyder3, but I have absolutely no clue how to install the custom curve?
