Joris, Welcome to this group. What you ask is very well possible. However, I checked my version of QTR and it does not contain curves for the 1900 yet. The "curves" describe how ink channels are used exactly. In your case you could use a "black only" curves, actually the easiest curve to make. Perhaps the newest version of QTR has 1900 curves. You may also check the "files" section of this group. If that doesn't help you'll have to make your own curve. You can check out Tom Moore's manual for that. Good luck, Joost --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "jorisschenk" <joris.schenk@...> wrote: > > i'm new to this group. hello! > > i have a epson r1900. i'm printing on transfer paper for t-shirt transfers. i got like many people a green blue tone to my photo prints. > after trying and trying for hours i get some good output on grey's not to much Metamerism (which causes the greenish glow i think) > > i'm desparate to find a way to make the printer prints grey with the blacks only. can this be done with quadtone rip? i dont want a composite of colours to create grey, i want only the blacks to produce it. > is it possible? any suggestions? >
