(I apologize in advance for the plug; cross posted on the B&W Print and QTR forums.) The brochures for this summer's non-profit Golden Trout Photo Workshop (and Natural History Workshops) have been mailed. So, we are accepting registrations. Each summer Roy Harrington and I host a High Sierra wilderness-photo workshop at the historic Golden Trout camp in the Southern High Sierra, just south of Mt. Whitney, above Lone Pine, California. It's at 10,000 feet and a 3 mile (easy) hike in. We have solar power for charging cameras and running a printer, computers, spectros, etc., but this is in the Golden Trout Wilderness, at the southern border of the John Muir Wilderness. (There are no internet connections -- downright primitive.) For those who like photography and dramatic High Sierra landscapes, this $495/week, food and shelter (tent cabin) provided workshop is a bargain. See http://www.paulroark.com/GTthumbnails.html for more information oriented to the photo session. The official web site is at http://goldentroutworkshops.org/ A PDF version of the brochure is posted here: http://goldentroutworkshops.org/GTC2010-brochure.pdf Hope to see some of you there this summer.
