You can use Colormunki's Photo Color Picker application to take LAB spot readings of the ink separation print or the 21-step wedge. The patches are big enough if you're careful. It's painfully laborious but the only way I've found. (If anyone does know a way to automate the process with the Colormunki I'd like to hear it. I'm still using my old 810 with X-Key and Excel for this - it's far quicker.) Howard Edson wrote: > Hi! > > I am not new in this group, but this is my first posting. But what I intend to do is to partition the inks in QTR, linearize the curve and print from QTR afterwards. Will I be able to read the printed inkseparation file that comes with QTR using ColorMunki? If not (probably because CM requires larger chevron-shaped patches), how can I produce an appropriate sized ink separation file in PS? > > I must add that I know that with Eye-One this problem would not arise.
