I've been away from QTR for over four years while I was doing mostly color printing. Now I'm getting back into more b&w and I'd like to again use QTR. The GUI interface looks a little different than it did back when I was using QTR regularly. Unfortunately when I try to open the User Guide I get a message that says: "Error: Could not launch User Guide: Error 5." Since I can't read the User Guide I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm that the following settings are correct using an Epson 3800 printer, Hahnemuhle Fine Art Photo Rag Smooth matte paper, Windows Vista 64 on a one-year old Dell computer. Printer: Quad 3800 Name: Epson Stylus Pro 3800 Printing Model: Quad 3800 Curve 1 UCmk-EVelvet Fine Art [that's the Epson paper setting Hahnemuhle's profile information says to use with this paper and a 3800 printer] Resolution: 1440 Super Speed: Bi-directional Black ink: Matte ink It looks like three curves have replaced the warm, neutral, and cold sliders I remember using before but I think I understand what the curves are doing so I'll make a series of prints using different settings to get an idea of how they work. If there's anything special I should know about using these curves I'd appreciate knowing that. While the settings seem straightforward, I vaguely remember that when I used QTR before I used to set something like "Grey paper" or "Grey matte" somewhere and I don't see that option any more. Sorry for such a long message. And if by chance anyone has a fix for my Error 5 message I'd like to know it. I've googled "Error 5" but what comes up either doesn't seem relevant to this particular problem or would require a college degree in computer science to implement. Thanks
