I have set up an epson 1400 with eboni 6 inks. The 1400 ink order is Y, K, LC, LM, M, C. I have printed out the ink separation chart for 6 inks. However, it is ordered as Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Light Cyan and Light Magenta as inks 1 to 6 respectively on the separation chart. I have calibrated my 3800 for 3K printing on various papers previously and am used to the separation chart printing inks in the same order - ie black is first and is used to assess ink limit with LK and LLK then assessed for ink crossover. How do I proceed with the eboni 6 set up? Do I measure the INk 1 = Black on the separation chart to determine the ink limit, even though the eboni MK ink is in the second slot? Then how do I proceed in terms of measuring the ink crossovers? No doubt a simple answer but grateful for guidance.
