Hello, i am trying to make good bw-prints with QTR, MIS Ultratone and Epson Pro3800. My problem is, the prints has horizontal fine white lines, like bad nozzles or banding, but the nozzle check is always ok. Interesting is, these fine lines are only in prints i made with QTR, by resolution 1440 an 2880. When i am printing through Epson-Driver the quality of the prints is 100% ok, without the lines. I tried different papers like Ilford Gold Fibre Silk or Harman Gloss FB AL, i tried to setup a wider gap to the printhead, no better prints. In 2880 resolution the prints are a bit better, but with a magnifying glass i can see the lines again. What does QTR doing differently than the OEM-Driver, what produces these lines?
