QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hi,

    The release notes warn us of printing problems with the above combination and recommends that we print from CS3.

   I only have CS4, and have not installed Snow Leopard. Printer is Epson 3800. I understand there is a problem with CS4 printing an untagged file, which would mess you up if you were trying to print a test file to make a custom curve (there may be other problems too, I don't know).

    I've been using the Epson ABW driver. Would it be worthwhile to
install and use QTR with the default curves (for Museo Silver Rag, if they exist) in this system environment? Or would I be better off waiting for Apple/Adobe/Epson to fix the color management problems?
