Dave, I have not made curves for QTR using the original K3 OEM inksets. But using a concoction of 3rd party inks (along with OEM PK), I have found the L values (brightness) to be very similar between Epson Ehibition Fiber and Ilford Gold Fiber Silk. To examine the print color or hue of various papers, recently I printed with the same curve on Epson Exhibition Fiber, Harmon Glossy, Hahnemuhle Photorag Baryta, Canson Platine Fiber, and Innova F-Type. Visually the print densities are very, very similar on all. I can, however, detect minor differences. So as a first approximation, using the Silver Rag curves will likely get you close. You will have to experiment a bit. I would definitely recomment printing out a smooth black-to-white ramp to make sure there are no tone reversals (posterization). Custom curves for each paper is the best way to go. Good luck.
