Re: Install QTR for Artisan 50

2011-03-06 by jwelter

Hi Roy,

Thanks for your quick reply. Installing via Bonjour worked great.

Generally QTR works with the Artisan 50. I was able to print. So I started to play around with QTR. Indeed it is a little bit disapointing and limiting just to have single-ink black-only (why so?). But I like the neutral gray look and therfore it is an improvement compared to the epson driver.

Since there are only two curves in the package I have to approach creating own profiles. Here comes the problem. Printing the inkseparation.psd in calibration mode does not work. The Artisan 50 pulls the paper through without printing. I am reading your tutorials and so far I have understood: As I have just black ink the only parameter I need is the black ink limit, right? Is there another way to test it?
