and then print the target with that new .quad file that includes
linearization data?

Also you need to be 100% sure that you are printing without icc profile to
create profile. Easy to do in QTR on Windows (its a standalone app) but on
the Mac its not a standalone app so not sure how you print without profile.

Then when you print the target you need to again to consider whether you are
printing with or without icc profile. A target with gamma 2.2 profile will
give you a gamma 2.2 curve :)
