Hi Michael, You probably aren't getting any curves installed if it can't create the folder. The issue is probably permission -- are you using both an admin and a non-admin accounts on your machine? -- i.e. running install of QTR with admin and install of printer with non-admin. You might be able to just go create that folder directly -- make sure it has all permissions on (Read&Write for everyone) with Get Info from the Finder.
